The motion dive .tokyo performance package is a collaboration between Digitalstage, creators of motion dive .tokyo, and Edirol. Edirol has enhanced the already famous motion dive .tokyo software by adding MIDI functionality and designing a unique USB powered hardware controller that mirrors the software interface. The combined pieces create a new and exciting way to perform visuals in real time.

PRESENTATION OF VJIMAGEBANK

First of alla I have a special guest which is Andrea Gabriele (Pirandelo) who's supporting my installlation with music. My work will be an installation that correspond to an original projection on a special screen of a software art piece of mine, called CyberInfinity.

L'amore per la natura a volte distoglie la nostra attenzione dai temi reali della vita quotidiana. Il ritorno ad una situazione di estinzione è visto come la redenzione dell'uomo dall'immorale e dal moralmente riconosciuto come tale e tal dei. I due performer, kudu(menestrello video) e Eugene(menestrello audio) sono performanti e per formare quello che da la forma alla loro performance, ce la mettono davvero tutta.

Salvatore... gira per la stazione di napoli carico di borse e borsette... col suo cappottone... puzza sempre un po' di vino... ma ha qualcosa da dire... noi l'abbiamo ascoltato... ed abbiamo portato sullo schermo i suoi pensieri troppo lucidi per essere comprensibili... ed abbiamo immaginato col basso e con la batteria i suoni che rimbombano nella sua testa....

La Luninanza del Pixel____cancellazione della parola per un’esperienza polisensoriale, uditiva, visiva, che mira non più a catturare l’attenzione del fruitore attraverso la coscienza, bensì attraverso il subconscio: niente inizio, niente fine, solamente il viaggio.. l’arte visiva, la pittura il video la fotografia, la musica, come linguaggio che qualsiasi popolo, di qualsiasi paese, ha la possibilità di “leggere”, interpretando liberamente.

Primitive Landscapes Evolution (audiovideo live improvisation performance)

Primitive Landscapes Evolution ripercore le tappe evolutive dell'universo, fino ad arrivare all'essenza della societè  contemporanea. Il flusso che dal big bang ha portato ad oggi viene rappresentato con un crescendo audiovisivo evocativo.

VIDEO
Le sequenze video vengono montate dal vivo tramite l'utilizzo del software resolume. L'interazione con l'audio è dettata sia dall'improvvisazione del performer che dal rilevamento dell'audio da parte di resolume, che traduce la musica che sente in variabili che il performer associa a qualunque aspetto della video-performance.

AUDIO
La musica è composta live per mezzo di un laptop e dell'intervento di percussioni suonate dal vivo.
Il genere musicale, difficilmente inquadrabile, spazia dalla IDM intelligent dance music alla drum'n'bass.
La costante ritmica percussiva rievoca l'Africa, le origini dell'uomo e forse coglie quel battito che fa muovere tutte le cose nell'universo.

Little Electro Lab è un progetto nato nell'estate 2004. Una ricerca rivolta allo studio della percezione dell'immagine non in funzione dellla musica, ma concepita in simbiosi con essa.
DJ Xen esegue il percorso musicale improvvisando nella gamma che può spaziare dall'elettronica alla braindance, dall' industriale fino alla minimale.
VJ D-Vorak concepisce l'immagine in quanto luce sottratta all'immaginario collettivo. Luce destrutturata per essere ricombinata nella performance e per creare nel fruitore un "massaggio mentale".

Innamorato da sempre della musica soul e funky degli anni `70, propone attualmente un set d´n´b fortemente orientato verso sonorità soulful e liquid, privilegiando quindi le melodie e i brani cantati, sostenuti da una "calda" base ritmica. L'intento della performance live di vj'ing e' quello di migliorare gli eventi basati sulla musica con riprese live e immagini a tema.

Attrezzature e software specializzati per performance live ci consentono di produrre immagini che si muovono in base al ritmo e alle sensazioni trasmesse dalla musica.

Le performance video live fanno la differenza ai fini del successo dell'evento, creando e mantenendo la giusta atmosfera dal principio alla fine.

paesaggi urbani, corpi, gesti, volti, sguardi, segni, riprodotti attraverso la patina dello schermo con tempi frazionati e spezzati. quello che balza all'occhio è la loro serialità, il loro essere irripetibilmente sempre la stessa robba che ci circonda.

Tutto inizia 10 anni fa con un 386 l'unico software per disegnare era il paint.

"...passi passanti ..." è una sequenza di scatti fotografici realizzati con la stessa inquadratura.

Astratto e reale, il video si muove tra questi due fulcri, intrecciando disegni tecnici a esplosioni digitali, sostenuti da un sound semplice che risalta il ritmo generale.

Dreams are easily influenced by factors in our life and spirit, and these influences create "categories" that are almost infinite. We do broadly categorize them in terms like "sex, prophetic, standard, physical and nightmare. Dreams are a communication of body, mind and spirit in a symbolic communicative environmental state of being. Our brains are in constant activity. Different states of consciousness (like awake, asleep, alert, drowsy, excited, bored, concentrating or daydreaming) cause different brain wave activity. Our conscious mind, or the part we think with, our "window" into life, only takes up a very small portion of our brain activity.
My main concern within this project is exploring our mind, unconscious and interpretation levels of dreams as well as the possibility to understand psychic intuition. The specifics of the realization of dreams emotions, thoughts, imagination, sex drive actions and interactions of a dreamer raises the question of the viewer and that simultaneity that makes our mind and spirit work together with our brain to be understood.
The performance works project focuses on the mechanisms of perception and dreams , the private world of the world of fantasy and unconcious, the conditions underlying the system by which mind and spirit operates. At the same time, the (in)-visibility of the structure ignites a confusion on the viewers' perception of the work and of the space where it is placed, thus provoking and ambiguous relationship between the object, its function and its appearance, unlock a mysterious force field on the border of the truth and lie, that is able to create unexpected angles of approach which in turn force the viewer to take up a new position in the observation of the surrounding world.I will working on performance works project entitled "Wishes, Lies and Dreams". And I would like invited young teenager, local peoples/artists and disabled persons for sharing their Wishes/Dreams in my performance project. (Such as writing/reading something about their wishes/dreams or bring animal lives/dolls staffs and fantasy clothing)
"Wishes, Lies and Dreams" will created to explore intimacy and emotional resonance with the viewer with combines artistic and fantasy to explores experience of remembering ; questioning the fantastic adventure of nature, recognizing disquieting patterns, facing emerging memories, understanding the nature. Segments are combined with blurring images and vague to create and impression of subconscious memory and dreams.

Monotono è una visualizzazione della parte fisica del suono: un viaggio ottico che rintraccia e indaga i rapporti esistenti tra movimento, luce, colore e la frequenza e il suono da essi generato.Mentre besegher immagina che il visual sia una carta da parati impiegata a scopo decorativo, flushing device descrive uno spazio sonoro dilatato e rarefatto, composto da disturbi sonori naturali a cui si mescolano lunghi feedback di chitarre, melodie lineari e beat minimali.

Dopo un po' di gavetta fatta attraverso iniziative in collaborazione con diverse associazioni culturali e non, comincia a presentare le prime videoinstallazioni autonome, con l'uso di diversi tipi di sensori fotometrici e vere e proprie estensioni creative autocostruite applicate alla macchina.
Alcuni progetti come il "3d fetish" "dispetti digitali" o "alla fiera" nascono proprio dalla sperimentazione sul campo.
Rudimentali e ultratecnologici patchwork denuda macchine assembla sgorbi per il sollazzo di mente e anima.

Beat o' matic nasce come progetto orientato alla realizzazione di live performance votate a creare un connubio tra audio e video.
Alle sonorità groove e orientate al dancefloor si uniscono le successioni e fusioni di immagini create da pintaycolorea, per generare un flusso eterogeneo di stimoli mediatici.
Caratteristica fondamentale del progetto è l'improvvisazione, la successione spontanea di pattern musicali e visuali che di volta in volta creano percorsi narrativi nuovi e imprevedibili.
