It's going to be renewed the yearly appointment with LPM, live performance meeting, international meeting for artists, professionals and amateurs of visual, veejaing and video live performance,coming from all over the world.

Last year, LPM involved 180 artists for 120 groups coming from China, Uruguay, USA, UK, Poland, Hungary, France, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Italy and over 14.000 visitors over the 4 days of preview and the 2 days of meeting.

To face the larger and larger demands to participate to LPM, this fourth edition will be provided with an open air space intended to live set performance and to place and commercial stands. For the same reason the meeting will last 4 days.

This edition will give the chance to some of the most important Clubs, known at international level and experts in this field, to present their live video activities calendar in LPM as a preview for season 2007/2008.

The meeting main concept is the experimentation; so all the income coming from and for LPM 2007 will be invested in new and innovative technologies in order to sustain both the event and the research activity referred to live visual field.

LPM will be a place to interact and mix new and different concepts of art; it will be a way to approach the visual art and the video live performance. LPM will offer a real place where to talk and face each other.

During the event, as the past editions, there will be workshop, showcases of forefront software and products. The protagonists will be the video performance, expressions of several and innovative codes and languages (theatre, music, graphic).

After dinner, DJ and VJ will perform alternatively in the open air space; they can use five consolle,10 video projector, and different monitors.

PAST EDITIONS

Giunge alla sua quarta edizione LPM, Live Performers Meeting, meeting internazionale per artisti, esperti ed appassionati di veejaying, visual e soprattutto video live performance provenienti da diversi paesi del mondo.

Dopo il successo dello scorso anno, con un numero di 180 artisti e 120 gruppi provenienti da Cina, Uruguay, USA, Inghilterra, Polonia, Ungheria, Francia, Croazia, Serbia, Macedonia, Spagna, Germania, Danimarca, Portogallo, Italia e più di 14.000 visitatori nei 4 giorni di anteprima ed i 2 di meeting, il meeting si amplia nella durata, da 2 a 4 giorni, e negli spazi, comprendendo quest'anno uno spazio open air adatto ad ospitare live set spettacolari e stands espositivi e commerciali.

Tra le importanti innovazioni di quest'edizione, grazie alla strategicità del periodo in questione, lo spazio dedicato alle anteprime degli appuntamenti con protagonisti i visuals della stagione 2007/2008 di alcuni dei più importanti club.

La sperimentazione è uno dei capisaldi dell'ideologia che anima il meeting, per questo motivo tutti i fondi che verranno recuperati per LPM 2007 saranno destinati al reperimento delle tecnologie più ambite ed innovative da mettere a disposizione degli artisti a sostegno dell'evento e dell'attività di ricerca in ambito live visual.

LPM oltre ad offrire al grande pubblico, attratto dall'universalità dei linguaggi della musica e delle immagini, la possibilità di avvicinarsi alle tematiche della visual art e del live video, è per artisti e appassionati d'arte e di nuove tecnologie digitali, abituati a conoscersi, incontrarsi, comunicare ed interagire nello spazio virtuale della rete, un luogo d'incontro "reale", uno spazio "fisico", un'occasione diretta di dialogo e confronto.

Nel corso dell'evento, in linea con le edizioni passate, si svolgeranno workshop, showcase di progetti, software e prodotti all'avanguardia, e naturalmente si susseguiranno performance audio video di gruppi che sperimentano l'accostamento di diversi linguaggi espressivi (teatro, musica, grafica, ecc.). Dopo la cena, anch'essa accompagnata da immagini e musica, sarà la volta di importanti live open air, a seguire le performance audio video saranno accompagnate dal vj clash con i visuals dei tanti vj che si esibiranno alternandosi liberamente alle 5 consolle video messe a disposizione ed ai 10 video proiettori e numerosi monitor.
