HYPEReSPACE is an hypnotic Audio/Video performance on the border between the VJing and the audio live. Yroyto plays with the 80's science fiction film scene and video game universe to create a minimal and immersive experience with simple and sober design. The different pannels build into hyper mediatic spaces, that build up simultaneously with the sounds. The audio-video creates a synesthesia (concordance and link of two or more meanings) and unites two symbolic systems : the sound and the image. The symbol in it's whole is built with two separate elements , but united , bring the emergance of a hidden or invisible meaning. The audio-video brings together sound and image to create a network of meanings maintained by those two sensitive dimensions. The audio video instrument captivates intention and interest through two sensitive channels ,it invites the blend to imerse further or to reflect on the complex structures of our perception. It sketches new forms of links in between sound and image staying attached to the performative and live creation processes. After a multitude of mutations and experiments, Yroyto performs now with audio-visual instruments (electronic drums, sequencers, piano,...) open to live improvisation, creating a minimal and touching musical universe. YroYto (1980-) Director, video artist, graphic designer and hyper-active and iconoclastic performer of the French and international scene, Elie Blanchard aka Yroyto pays a particular attention on the relation of the image and the sound so by appropriating a new indivisible entity: the audiovision. Since 2003, he sketchs new forms of connection between the sound and the image by becoming attached to the performatif aspect and live of the process of creation. After numerous researches and alterations, he performe henceforth audiovisual instruments (drum kit, sequencer, piano) opened to the live improvisation by creating a minimal and unstable musical and visual universe: HYPERSPACE, A/V drum, ANTI-TACHE, ...Resident artist of Général en Manufacture (artist's place in Paris - http://la-g.org), he welcomes in his space (les PIXELS Transversaux)international artists for residence of creation, in basic research or still by suggesting them presenting their work. He collaborates with the other numerous artists of varied disciplines : IMER (juggler), Joan Giner (Musician), Tom Soda (Drummer), Olivier Perrin (Guitarist), Noémie Merleau-Ponty (writer), G-mO (Videast)…He create ExplosiveTV in 2007, independant label from edition, from production and from distribution of DVDS of video, digital and multimedia art.
