FLOW – the Revival. Renewed audiovisual performance FLOW, which was implemented as an open-air public art composition during Vilnius - European Capital of Culture 2009 last summer event Let There Be Night! The aim of the original project was to illustrate the social-architectural problems connected to the publically dead river quay in the center of Vilnius city (the river, as a valuable natural element in the city center, is not exploited for social and public use). In this phase the project from its static origin is shifted to a flexible format and with the joint work of VJs (Vodka Jugend) and audio electronics group Lumo Tree is presented in the new dimensions a LIVE audiovisual act. With the help of movement sensors the idea of the project, its signs and symbolism are reflected in a publicity incorporating audiovisual performance which in this time involves all surrounding people by transforming them from observers to players – in this way it prolongs and broadens the primary idea of the project – to wake up a dead social area for the new life. Vodka Jugend is a VJ band, formed by people from different professional backgrounds. The group does regular vj sets, also video installations, public art, short films, graphic and web design.
