The !S.A.D! is a solo project focused on live digital arts and (mostly) electronic music started in 2006 by Marco Donnarumma (Naples, 1984), multimedia artist, producer, live performer and bass player. Coming from 4 years as bass player in a metal-core cover band of Pantera, I finally enjoyed digital world in 2000. In the beginning i have worked with many collaborative projects such as Microplatform, Chiglia:e:remi, pinkie&S.A.D.E., performing at Live!IxEm ‘05, Venetian Industries, Homework Festival, LAT Venezia. In 2006 i decided to focus my energies on this sad solo project and i began giggin’ around Italy. In November 2006 i partecipated to the 3rd edition of LPM (Live Performers Meeting - Avit Italy) in Rome, and today i’m AR for LPM and active member of FLxER Team. In 2007 i had my first solo tour in Eastern Europe, playing also at the historical Cross Club in Prague CZ. In October 2007 i ended my thesis titled “Social-ecologic study about soundscape. Research and specific analysis in Venice” and i received the academic degree in New Technology for Arts with the highest grading (at Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, IT). Since then i started to gig around regularly and live performances have become a fundamental and necessary aspect of the project. I have performed at several international events such as LaBiennale Architecture (IT), Vision’r Festival Vj (FR), Rome White Night (IT), Cinetrip Vj Torna (HU). Since January 2008 i’m on European Tour. By now i have performed in Berlin, Budapest, Paris, Chauteraux, Milano, Venice and i’m about to leave for Birmingham, Stuttgart, Lisbona and Porto.

He's active member of FLxER Team and an AR for the international meeting called LPM (Live Performers Meeting - Rome).
!S.A.D! has been on european tour since January 2008 playing in Berlin, Riga, Budapest, Paris, Milano, Venice, Birmigham, Stuttgart and Lisbona.
